Live business systems

Shopify

Orders, cart, product pages, and what the assistant will not touch.

Connect your store under Live business systems. Sign in to Shopify when asked. Done.

What the assistant can do

  • Check stock and price, live, for any product.
  • Recommend from your real catalogue. Never a product you do not sell. Never one that is sold out.
  • Open a product page for the customer when they ask to see it.
  • Add to cart, remove, or change a quantity. The customer sees the cart update.
  • Look up an order: status, tracking, items, once the customer has proven the order is theirs.
  • Show returns and refunds already on the order.

What it will not do

It never moves money. No refunds, no cancellations, no changing an address on a paid order. When a customer asks for one of those, the assistant takes the request and hands it to your team with the details.

How customers prove an order is theirs

On your website, the assistant asks them to sign in to their store account. Signed in, they can ask about their orders freely.

Off the website, or as a guest, the assistant asks for the order number plus the email or postcode on the order. That unlocks that one order only.

Good to know

  • The assistant sees what is in the customer's cart on your site, so "add one more of that" works.
  • It sees which page the customer is on, so "does this come in medium" works without naming the product.
