Read ten conversations a week

The habit that improves everything else.

Once a week, open the Conversations page and read ten, cold. Not the ones that went wrong. Ten at random.

Look for four things:

• Did it answer the question that was asked? Not a nearby one.
• Was the answer short enough? Two or three sentences is usually right.
• Did it say "I don't know" when it should have? Or did it stretch?
• Did it sound like your business? Or like a bot?

Each one that bothers you points at a source to fix or a policy to write. Ten minutes a week keeps the assistant honest.
